While the purchasing phase of the policy went fairly smoothly, an insurance company's policy coverage performance can't be fully evaluated unless a claim is filed. Since I didn't need to submit a claim, I can't rate the program's performance on what is arguably the most critical aspect of the transaction. That's why the 3-star rating.

Honestly, since I did not have to make a claim it is hard to evaluate the coverage. However, for the tour an insurance was offered and required; but unavailable for people outside the US. The price was reasonable in complying with the requirement of the trip

The "plan" declined to pay for bare minimum food and transportation expenses during documented 3-day delay due to lack of receipts in the country where receipts are not customary. I am considering suing this so-called insurance. Don't get scammed, stay away.
