I submitted the paperwork to change the dates of coverage - well before the original trip start date.
I have not heard back on the progress just to alter the date.
The system still thinks I am on the original dates - as evidenced y this survey.
Issue resolved within 1 day.
All is good now.

The online estimate form was confusing to me as it asked for information not relevant to what I was looking for and I had to call twice to get a better understanding but ultimately I was satisfied.

You are betting against yourself buying insurance—I am an old woman and buy insurance as a precaution. I have never used any insurance plan and think my history ought to be taken into account in the premium paid. Trip insurance at my age is very expensive. When I was younger & traveling more, I bought an annual policy.
