We had to cancel our cruise due to an illness in the family. I submitted my claim. They responded back in a timely manner requesting additional receipts. I sent those in and received a check in the mail in a week. Very pleased.

After realizing that a passenger on our cruise had a medical emergency and had to have emergency surgery at one of the ports, having Nationwide Mutual Insurance gave me peace of mind knowing this can happen at any time. I know that medical evacuation is expensive and would not want to be stuck with that bill. The cost out weighs the risk.

Didn't have need to file a claim, but I was happy with the policy I was able to obtain. Online process to obtain and revise coverage (to add flight cost when known) was fairly straightforward. Only downside is I had to take out 4 diffferent policies for members of our party residing in 4 different states.
