I've purchased this plan previously. I had to use it once and the insurance came through brilliantly. I probably wouldn''t consider another policy unless this one is no longer offered.

Thankfully our 5 week overseas journey had no health issues. Seeing the health care facilities in multiple countries convinced me this insurance was a good decision for 2 aging people.

Early in August, I filed a claim for slightly less than $200 and submitted all necessary supporting materials. To date (Oct 3), I've received no information on the claim from GeoBlue. When I looked up the claim via the internet, the claim file indicated that the amount claimed was subject to a deductible, hence no payment. I was unaware of a deductible, but that's on me. What I don't like is the utter lack of communication.

I spent three weeks in Japan on business and purchased a plan for medical coverage. Did not end up needing it, but enjoyed the peace of mind knowing I had coverage.
