Nationwide Choice Cruise

The Nationwide Choice Cruise plan is only available to those who will be traveling on a cruise during their trip. It offers similar coverage to the Universal Cruise plan, but with higher benefit amounts.

This plan includes important coverage such as trip cancellation and trip interruption which allows you to cancel prior to departure or interrupt after departure for a covered reason. It also includes baggage coverage, travel delay, missed connection, medical, and emergency medical evacuation coverage to list a few.

Everyone hopes for a vacation that goes off without a hitch, but there is always the chance that the unexpected may happen. The Choice Cruise plan can provide coverage so that a lost bag or a flight delay won't completely ruin your trip.

It's tough to know just how good an insurance plan is when you haven't had to make a claim. The peace of mind is good, and I've felt for years that the Nationwide Choice Cruise plan has a very good level of coverage in the event of a significant emergency while out of the country, including emergency evacuation and medical coverage, while also maintaining a reasonable price tag. We have been fortunate enough to not have to file a claim, but I feel reasonably confident that we'd be covered if we did, and we will buy this plan again for future cruises.

Glad we had the coverage. Gave us peace of mind knowing we were covered. Fortunately, we never had an issue and didn't need to file a claim.

It is a bummer to know i spent closer to $1000 on an insurance plan that didn't have to cover a penny. I'm sure i would have thought it was a great deal of i had needed to use of, but i venture to guess that 99 out of 100 clients never need a payout, yet it was compulsory to booking the cruise.
