This was the only plan I found that offered trip cancellation coverage for "any reason" and this was important for us due to medical mental health exclusions in most plans. Suddenly 2 months prior to our trip, one of our travel companions was diagnosed with breast cancer & it was unknown if treatment would be completed in time to travel. The fine print on policies is always hard to understand, but I found the InsureMyTrip staff to be more customer service oriented and efficient than the insurance company itself when answering questions and updating the policy after we purchased our airfares. In the end, we were all able to travel which was a great. I recommend InsureMyTrip to everyone for ease of use and their customer service.

    Thank you for your comments. Although this was not the only plan that offered the optional Cancel for Any Reason coverage, it was certainly the least expensive.
