I had an awesome experience with Travelex Insurance. I actually needed to move my trip because my husband was unable to get off for Christmas so the only thing the company needed from him was a letter from his boss saying that he was not giving him Christmas off due to operational needs. I submitted this to them as well as proof of purchase of my trip on my credit card and they refunded me the entire trip. Sent it straight to my paypal account. I used that money to book the trip for thanksgiving instead. The company is easy to deal with and I just purchased travel insurance again for my trip to UAE!

My son got sick on trip and was treated by medical staff aboard the ship. When we returned I contacted travelex and submitted my receipts from medical and the claim was handled expeditiously. I am very pleased with the insurance and have since taken out another policy for my next trip.

While on my trip I called to inquire about medical coverage, reimbursement and the possibility of needing to extend my trip due to my child’s illness (and the type of documentation I’d need in order to file later). My calls kept getting dropped and I couldn’t get in touch with a single person. Absolutely useless.
