I felt the cost for my insurance was high. I suspect it was high because I am now 80 years old and the plan did not take into account that I am in very good health and very active. However, the coverage and the agents with whom I spoke were excellent.

We did not have to file a claim (thank goodness), but this insurance had everything we needed... cancel for any reason and medical coverage in a foreign country. The price very reasonable - much less than the ins offered through the cruise line. The comparison option on the website is user friendly and the chat feature is great. I had all my questions answered before I selected coverage. I also liked that I have until the day before I made my final payment, to purchase the insurance (for cruises only) - gave me plenty of time to research coverage that fit our needs. Thank you!

unfortunately, I had to cancel my trip to Germany because of my husband's medical issues. The process of receiving a refund was straightforward and reasonable as far as the documentation was concerned. The ticket was refunded in an expedient manner. I was extremely pleased how this whole situation was handled. As a matter of fact, I already had sent an E-mail to the claims' department to thank them for the excellent service I received.

I never use to take out travel insurance until my husband was diagnosed with cancer. Plans can be made but you never know what life brings. On this last trip it ended up one of my children had emergency surgery a month before we were to leave. I was not sure if we would proceed with our plans. Luckily everything was fine and we did go but I was not stressed knowing I had the travel insurance if plans had changed.
