We buy insurance primarily in case we get sick or something happens to my elderly mother in law. It seems too expensive to me, but the Nationwide policy was the best deal. We never seem to have to use it and it would be nice if they would give discounted policies for those that don't make claims.

We didn't have to use the policy for anything but felt at ease knowing we had the coverage behind us if needed. We do recommend insure my trip to all of our friends and family and also Nationwide Cruise insurance for our cruising friends.

This offered less coverage than if I had purchased coverage when I originally booked the trip. Fortunately we did not need to use the insurance.

Thank you for your feedback. Nationwide Mutual offers 3 levels of cruise plans, Universal Cruise, Choice Cruise and Luxury Cruise plans. If you had purchased the policy prior to or on the date of final payment, you would have been eligible for several time sensitive benefits including but not limited to the pre-existing condition waiver and the optional Cancel for Any Reason coverage that are available on the Choice and Luxury Cruise plans.Feb 04,2020
