I did shop around for the best deal and AIG Travel Guard seemed to meet all my requirements and for a reasonable price. I hope if I ever had to place a claim that I would still feel this way.

The plan is fine. AIG's delivery of benefits is not. I had to cancel a trip to Greece on doctor's orders. I filed all the papers, answered followup requests and was told there was a backlog of claims. One month has elapsed with no further word. Not a good testimonial for AIG!

Really can't provide a meaningful evaluation since, thankfully, I didn't have any claims. Price etc. is important, but the test of a plan is how well it delivers when you have a claim.
