My expenses were associated with traveling companion's illness while on trip. We both had insurance but with different carriers as we live in different states. When I first called TravelSafe, I was told I would have to submit claim through traveling companion's insurance. It took 3 months and a lot of paperwork to be told I would get nothing from them as I was not insured with them. TravelSafe should have known this and not held me up and caused a lot of inconvenience by requiring this. Other company should have informed me I would not be covered for anything with them instead of having me submit mountains of paperwork over 3 months also. This situation caused my dissatisfaction with both companies. Insuremytrip should have been aware of this also as both insurances were purchased thru them.

Thank you for allowing InsureMyTrip to advocate on your behalf. Once you made us aware that you were experiencing difficulties with the claim, we were able to clear up much of the confusion. Your situation was very atypical, and took longer than usual to resolve. Ultimately, we are pleased that your claim has been approved.Mar 07,2017
