Before we made our decision to purchase travel insurance, we had questions about specific circumstances that might require us to cancel our trip. We called Berkshire Hathaway and spoke to a representative who carefully listened to our concerns and answers our questions clearly. We were pleased with the customer service we received and felt confident with our insurance coverage.

Luckily, all went well on my month long trip and I didn’t need tp file a claim.
So, I don’t actually know if it would have covered what I needed.

Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection ExactCare Value
This plan cost twice what we paid another carrier last year, but we needed coverage and the other carrier changed its age limit. I felt we were penalized by Berkshire for being elderly. Wonder if Mr. Buffett is aware of this.
