Have used Generali Global Assistance Standard (formerly CSA) on all trips during the past 5 years and always recommend them to friends. On one trip we were delayed and filing a claim was easy.

It’s difficult to review an insurance plan’s value if you have not needed to actually use it! However, thankful that i did not use the insurance but would not consider planning a trip without it.

The CSA Protection Plan is the best and less expensive we have found for our tours/trips . The ones offered by Travel agencies and cruise lines are expensive for the same amount of coverage . Do your homework and save your hard earned money before you travel. Retired and loving it!

We are sorry to learn your trip was canceled. Most of our providers have a strict review period in which a policy may be canceled and fully refunded. The CSA Custom policy has a 10 day review period from purchase where they would issue this refund.
Once you are outside your review period, and a refund is not available, we are able to request that your policy is transferred to a new trip. If you receive a full refund of your trip, and you have not filed any claims against your policy, we are more than happy in assisting you with this request.

Policy costs are a common customer complaint so it is important to keep in mind that policy premiums are based on the age of the travelers, trip cost per person and length of trip. We had an absolutely PERFECT Carnival Cruise to New England/Canada with Caribbean-like weather (Sept 9 - 16). The only bad experience we had was waiting on Super Shuttle for 3 hours in New York to take us to LaGuardia airport. Since we did not file any claims with your company, I cannot give an opinion on how your company pays on claims. Had a wonderful trip!

We have always purchased insurance for our cruises but thankfully have never had to file a claim. We usually purchase a plan through Insure My Trip but do not always choose the same company. This was the first time we have ever had to file a claim and although it was just for a change fee for the airlines and a co-pay for a prescription, it was promptly handled by CSA and we received all funds that we requested. I can recommend this plan based upon this experience.
