Although we did not yet need to file a claim with this company, the coverage we paid for seemed sufficient for the mission trip. I would consider this company in the future.

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Essential
I use Nationwide because they have processed difficult claims to our satisfaction in the past and I trust they will do so, should the need arise, in the future.

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Essential
We had a trip interruption due to a medical problem. TruTravel Super Saver would only pay if I was diagnosed in Africa, however I was diagnosed by a doctor in the USA and notified of the condition while we were in Africa.
TruTravel was not at all flexible on this.

    I filed an appeal with TruTravel. Their agent was very unresponsive. I had to call and email just to get a response even when one was promised. They denied the appeal, which is what I expected from them. I would never use this company again and recommend you don't use them either. If you have to file a claim, expect it to be denied.
