So happy with this coverage. My dad was diagnosed with cancer right before our Africa trip and we weren't sure if we would be going. It was a comfort to know we would be covered in case we needed to cancel. Happily, dad has responded to treatment with ongoing success. Would highly recommend this affordable insurance to anyone traveling on a big trip. Happy camper!!!

It's very expensive. My friends from the U.K. that I traveled with paid far less. I actually have my own health insurance coverage so some coverage was duplicated.

    Thank you very much for your comment. In the United States, the premiums for Comprehensive plans are based on your trip cost, age of traveler and length of trip. Coverage terms and pricing are regulated by the states, so it would not be surprising to find a difference in pricing.

I had an issue that was not covered and that I had not anticipated. I had a broken hearing aid. From reading the coverage, I believe it was not covered and cost me over $200.

    Comprehensive Coverage plan premiums are calculated based on age of travelers, trip cost and length of trip. In some plans, destination may also affect the premium. You did choose the least expensive of our Comprehensive plans, so the policy premium was only 6.3% of your total trip cost.

    Your comments on price is a frequent complaint. Nevertheless we do not expect any decrease in rates in the foreseeable future.

The older you get the more expensive it gets. I understand that BUT it made me have second thoughts. I wonder what the rate of plan usage for folks over 70 is to justify the high price. I thing it comes close to a rip off for senior citizens
