Filing a claim for my delayed baggage was an ordeal. I was not able to do it online, because of "system problem." When I called the phone number provided on my insurance card, I was transferred four times, before reaching the person who could help me. Then, this person put me on hold multiple times to "check policy details." Overall, I spent over 1.5 hours before finally getting assigned a claim number. Vary frustrating experience.

I reviewed plans and purchased the one that covered the cost of the trip plus healthcare overseas since I don't have that coverage on my domestic health insurance. I think John Hancock Silver seemed to be a good value for what I needed.
However, I did not have a need to file a claim (for which I am grateful) but without that, I am reluctant to provide any glowing
reviews.
It gave me peace of mind for the time period of my trip. That's really all I can say.
