Berkshire Hathaway Travel ProtectionExactCare Value
Didnt have to make a claim but felt so comfortable with the coverage I had no apprehension that I would be taken care of in the event something should happen.

When I was comparing plans for our cruise, this plan was the most reasonably priced of the plans that offered PRIMARY medical coverage. My wife and I are on Medicare, which rarely covers medical care outside the U.S. While our Medicare Supplement plans offer US$50,000 (lifetime limit) coverage, in my opinion it would be safer for the travel medical to immediately cover the first dollar of care in case of an emergency. Some non-U.S. medical facilities want money up-front, especially from foreign travelers. I cannot comment on the claims process because, thankfully, we had no medical problems during our cruise.

I guess it was fine -- you can't really make a judgment on the value of insurance until you try to use it, but, fortunately, I have not needed to make a claim in my travels to date.

It's hard to truly evaluate this plan because mercifully I didn't need to make a claim, but it was very affordable and provided the coverage I was looking for - trip cancellation and lost luggage.
