Plan covered emergencies. We had none and didn’t need to make any claim. We have no idea about how they would have handled a claim if we had needed to make one.

We are both in our late 70's with pre-existing conditions. Medicare and our supplement provide no coverage once we travel out of the USA so we deem this a basic cost of travel that we will not forgo.

The best insurance is the insurance you never need to use but have available “just in case “. We never needed this insurance but its presence lent comfort to the trip.
