While we didn't need to use the coverage, it provided peace of mind. We saw others on our cruise who had to be evacuated due to medical issues, and knowing we would have assistance and be covered if that event happened to us was comforting.

We purchased the plan on line through Insure My Trip. At the time we thought the cost/value for the coverage was acceptable. We have traveled all over the world but never had a single claim over many years so it is not possible to evaluate the plan any further.

Made a claim for change of port, which appears to no longer be the same benefit. Was paid easily and submitting documentation was reasonable. You do need all the details so keeping the records is important.

Nationwide was willing to move this policy from a cruise in January 2022 which we cancelled to a cruise in April 2022. I really appreciate this great customer focus.
