It’s really impossible to accurately rate this plan since we, fortunately, didn’t actually have to use it. All I can say is that it looked good on paper, and I hope it would’ve worked well if we had needed to use it.

InsureMyTrip is totally fabulous! Lots of plans and price points to choose. This AXA Plan met my needs completely. Most important to me is medical evacuation coverage. You are guaranteed to find what you need! Terrific phone support too.

Nothing medically happened while we were gone for the two months so we were not able (thankfully) to file a claim and test the insurance. Since we are on Medicare we will most likely use it again next year. It does seem to serve a good purpose to have when we travel overseas.

This is the only company I use for travel insurance. My husband had emergency surgery while we were traveling in Taiwan. He ended up in the hospital for eleven days plus his admittance in the ER. All bills were paid including follow up visits. I also use them for travel in the USA as my ACA coverage doesn't extend beyond my provider network. They are easy to work with and provide excellent service.

We had to cancel our trip after being diagnosed with Influenza in March 2020. I was concerned that our claim would be seriously delayed due to the number of COVID-19 claims, but was pleased to receive a check in the mail for the full amount within three weeks of submitting our claim. Just purchased a policy from the same company for our rescheduled trip in October.

This is the worst experience I've ever had. I have been trying to file a claim for 4 days but no one ever answers the phone. I was on hold over three hours yesterday no one picks up. Absolutely a scam.
