Thank you for the suggestion but it would be unlikely that insurance providers would provide a lower rate for returning customers. Although this premium credit works well for personal auto and homeowners, these are annual plans that the insured may renew at the end of the policy term. Since these auto and homeowners discounts are generally based on loyalty and loss history, the insured has time to build "credit" with the insurance provider which is unlikely to happen with travel insurance that is written on a single trip basis.Sep 26,2018

Insuremytrip.com provided excellent options on their site. The only issue was that I did not process my request in time and was unable to get the general coverage that I wanted. To their credit, Tokio Marine HCC Medical Insurance was the only company to allow coverage request on the same day as travel. Since I did not have a claim, I cannot give a review of their service for claims.

I always feel like that trip insurance is something that I should purchase when I travel out of country. Good peace of mind, just in case. Not sure how to rate satisfaction as I have never had a claim. (Nor do I wish too!) Paying the premium is easy enough though.

Plan covered everything I needed but didn't have to file a claim. Therefore, cannot comment on other reviewers' experience regarding slow claim processing. However, since all reviews indicate that the claims ultimately got paid, I felt the value offered vs. any potential processing delay was worth choosing this plan for myself. Would use again next time.
