I ran into an issue where a severe train delay caused us to miss our flight. This should be covered according to the plan. Of course, April insurance underwriters are trying to pay me a fraction of the cost, and they're using nuances to getting out of paying.

Purchased a plan with April through this website which was the most affordable and most comprehensive plan available. April was less expensive by a few hundred dollars over our tour operator's plan for much more coverage. Definitely recommend April and InsureMyTrip.

I only use APRIL for my travel insurance. The reason is I had one claim in 2016 using the "cancel for any reason". There was no hassle or problems as long as I used their forms and submitted them via email, fax or mail. Received even more than I expected. Good service, nice people on the phone and no got my refund in 3 weeks. Can't ask more than that from an insurance company
