The trip was cancelled due to excess snow but we continued our deposit to next year so we did not use the plan

i was concerned that the insurance coverage excluded the most expensive portion of my trip which was Alaska fish. if something had happened and the cargo was lost and spoiled then short of a nice long visit to Alaska there would be nothing to show for it. That's not right. if you are in the insurance business than do it 100%. I dont care to hear anymore excuses as to why you wont insure the fish. If that's the only response you can offer me than don't bother responding. It doesn't mean i wont use your service in the future. Only that i am not 100% satisfied.

Although I did not file a claim, i had the security of knowing I was covered for many incidences should they occur. I've always had this type of travel insurance and did file a claim in the past for which I was promptly reimbursed (having all the documentation required). Very foolish not to have it.

I have not need to file a claim myself but 2 of my friends had illness/injury on their trips and were very happy with your company's response.

I have been a regular client of AIG travel insurance. It gives me peace of m ind knowing that my loved ones will be taken care of in case I have an accident while on one of my trips.

This plan is an excellent value. It covered everything I felt I needed and at a reasonable cost. It gave me peace of mind during my two-week trip overseas.

I use Insure My Trip and Travel Guard whenever I take a trip where I feel insurance is necessary. My wife and I are in our 80's, so we are very concerned about making sure we qualify for the existing condition waiver, because if we get sick, it will probably be from a pre-existing condition. However, when I subsequently purchased the air fare for this trip, I forgot to immediately add the cost to the policy, and missed the 15 day purchase requirement. I still added it some 10 days later at a cost of over $400. However, it is my understanding that, because I missed the 15 day purchase requirement, I apparently voided a substantial part of my coverage, particularly the pre-existing condition waiver. And this is after I paid over $3,300 for the trip insurance coverage. This does not seem fair at all to me. I do my best to follow the rules, but void my coverage for a 10 day mistake. I believe that this is an overly restrictive provision. I have just purchased another travel insurance policy for a trip in 2019, but feel that these types of requirements are put in place as a means of denying coverage, which I do not think is fair.

Thankfully, I have never had to file a claim. Obtaining these policies is required for student travel at our college and satisfies the requirement regarding deductible and coverage at a reasonable price.
