I’m sorry to hear your trip did not go as planned. Insurance covers for the specific reasons, or covered perils, outlined within the Policy of Insurance. Each claim is fully adjudicated based on the coverage purchased and supporting documentation. You may submit an appeal if your claim was formally denied and you have reason to believe this was an error, or if you have new documentation to support coverage. The easiest way to accomplish this is by responding to the written notification you would have received if/when the claim was denied. You can also reply here, or inform IMT so we can work together to get an appeal started for you.Jan 04,2024

We got caught up in that mess at Newark airport in June 2023. United moved our connecting flights to the next day while we were in the air, and there was an approximately four-hour line just to talk to a rebooking agent. No hotels, no rental cars available in the area. I submitted my claim for the flight since it was of no use to us being a day later, and I was VERY happy with how quickly AIG Travel Guard resolved my case. Thank you so much. This was my first time ever submitting a claim, and I was worried it would take forever, but it was completed in about a week's time.

We never needed any assistance or had a need to use our travel insurance but it was comforting to know that if anything unexpected happened we were covered. If we travel overseas again I would use AIG Travel Guard again.

The good news is, we didn’t have to use the insurance, but it makes it more difficult to evaluate how good they are. But they did send us an email right before our trip making themselves available if we had any issues during our trip.

The plan almost covered everything I would have needed covered, just not 100%. Thank goodness I did not need to make any sort of a claim, but lastly, I wish the rates were not so high. I'm sure so many more people would get this coverage, if it was more affordable. It is definitely not cheap. But glad I had it.

Thank you for providing your feedback. There are 3 main factors that determine premium costs: the cost of the trip, the length of the trip, and the travelers ages.
Please also note that coverages are per person. Trip Cancellation does provide 100% reimbursement up to your total trip cost if you must cancel your trip for a covered reason.
