Travel Insurance Reviews for GeoBlue Voyager Choice

Hard to rate because I did not have to use the policy.

We purchased cheap travel insurance from our airline but it covered little medical costs. We were traveling abroad and wanted this plan primarily for medical coverage. We are seniors, and were happy to find this good medical coverage for a reasonable premium. I also liked that it was affiliated with Blue Cross in our state. I would purchase it again.

We did not need the plan on this trip which is a good thing! I was really happy with the price of the plan. Travel medical insurance to places like Mexico is a very good idea.

Fortunately, we didn't need it, but knowing it was there in case did allowed us to enjoy our trip without worry.

I always take out medical coverage with InsureMyTrip whenever I travel internationally, and always recommend this to others. I have never needed to file a claim, however one clause in the insurance policy I feel needs to be explained a little better. The non renewable clause, which means if you unexpectedly need to stay in a foreign hospital past the original planned end date of your trip, you are not covered, the policy cannot be extended. Explaining this better may prompt people to possibly extend coverage a few days beyond their trip end date, just to be protected.
