Trip went off without a hitch, so I did not need the file a claim. By the terms of the contract, this policy did seem to cover anything that could have gone wrong with our trip.

My Credit Card covers trip cancellation but not medical. This is a perfect economical solution to the missing component for trip insurance. It is my second time using them and their customer service agents are always helpful...

It would have improved my peace of mind if I had purchased the pre-existing condition coverage. My husband became ill after three days of a twenty-three day trip and it was related to his COPD, so he essentially had no medical coverage for that illness. Next time I'll be wiser.

Thankfully I still have not needed to find out just how good this plan is. I buy because the coverage is broader and much cheaper than the cruise line insurance. Knowing that I have coverage allows me enjoy my vacation with a little less worry.
