Terrible claim experience. Our luggage was stolen and I filed a claim upon our return home. Gave them everything they asked for, including the police report. They apparently waited over two weeks before even looking at it. Then they said they would do nothing until I provided them with completely irrelevant information: they wanted the detailed itinerary of the rest of our trip AFTER the theft occurred. I provide that, and they took another two weeks before paying the claim. What should have been a very simple and quick transaction took a full month to resolve. I will never use this company again.

This is a review that really provides accurate content. So many reviews only state a plan was purchased but no claim was made. Well, I unfortunately, had to file a claim. We were all set to go on the plane when the flight was cancelled after sitting on the plane for three hours. This made our connection impossible and the other flights to Cancun were all booked. This meant no weekend getaway for us. We were devastated but filed a claim the next day. The claim paid 100% of trip costs and within three weeks. I highly recommend this company. The claim process was also easy. I will definitely purchase from them again and again. We are very satisfied!

This was my first experience booking travel insurance and I’m so glad I did! With an unexpected delay of over 12 hours to get to my destination, the easiest part of my whole holiday was dealing with Berkshire Hathaway. They were prompt and helpful every step of the way. I’ll definitly use them again for all future trips and recommend them to friends and family.

I missed a connecting flight because of bad weather and had to file for trip interruption to cover a re-booked flight along with new travel expenses. It took over two months but their were complications out of Berkshire's control (the first airline wasn't exactly easy to get a hold of) but in the end I was reimbursed for everything I had submitted.

On Call was just terrible. Multiple agents on every call. Repeated story to new representative every call. No one took notes and failed to follow Dr.'s orders.
