Great peace of mind

I didn't have to use the insurance for a claim, but it covered everything I thought was necessary, including car rental insurance.

Fortunately, we did not have to file a claim while on our cruise. We wanted to be protected just in case we needed the coverage. I would definitely use Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company for my next trip.

The peace of mind with the insurance was immeasurable. It allowed me to not worry about an unforeseen medical emergency with a family member. I will always have trip insurance at this point in my life.

We needed to change the dates of our trip at the last minute when we got sick a day or so before we were scheduled to leave. Our host accommodated the change at no charge (so no need to make a claim), and Nationwide shifted the coverage to the new date with no additional cost. We appreciate the flexibility.

After having an issue during a previous trip outside the US, this plan gave us peace of mind that we had the right coverage if it was needed. Obtaining it on-line was easy and quick and the materials were comprehensive.

It was a comfort to know if something came up I would have been able to get some if not most of my money returned.

This is the second time I have used insuremytrip for international travels. With the unexpected issues from COVID and government requirements. It is comforting to know I have someone to help with expenses in case I need to isolate and help to protect my travel costs.

Fortunately, I did not need the insurance so I can’t attest to how a claim would have been processed. However, the plan provided the coverage I needed at a reasonable rate. The plan was clear and concise and communication was excellent.

I would not take a cruise without travel insurance and the amount of evacuation coverage figures in my decision to purchase. This policy met my requirements and I'm glad I did not need to use it.
