I find insuremytrip to be the best web site to find travel insurance at a great price. When I've had to rely on the insurance to handle a claim, I have been well satisfied with the outcome.

Plan paid claim as expected. Took longer to process than I thought, and the paperwork was quite onerous for a small claim, but apart from that it was smooth.

I had to file a claim for a canceled flight. The paperwork and documents required were a bit much and after uploading the documents there is no where to see what you've uploaded. My claim remained pending for 3 weeks and it wasn't until I called to check that it got approved.

We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed in the claims service but are pleased to hear that you did receive payment for your Travel Delay claim. Generally our insurance providers ask that claimants allow from 10 to 15 days from the date on which you submitted the final document to your claim settlement. In the future, if your claim takes longer than anticipated, please feel free to call InsureMyTrip to request an advocate to assist you on your claim.Nov 21,2018

We had to cancel the trip due to medical problems. Travelex processed the claim within 2-3 weeks and paid for everything we had claimed, including currency conversion fees. Customer service was contacted twice for simple questions; they were very good to talk to and gave accurate information.
I selected Travelex because of the stellar reviews read on insuremytrip and elsewhere. I believe their price was a bit higher than other companies but given the highly positive reviews about the lack of hassle when filing a claim I decided to give them a go. Am glad that I did. I would definitely use Travelex again.
