Travel Insurance Reviews for International Medical Group

I always purchase trip insurance for more expensive trips. I have had to use it in the past due to family illness and feel the cost is worth it.

I'm was fortunate I didn't need to use it but I'm glad I had the coverage in case I did.

This plan provided peace of mind prior to and during the trip. I am grateful.

Fortunately I never needed to test the plans true effectiveness or value but knowing I had it as my backstop was reassuring. Especially when very few if any of our usual insurance underwriters wouldn’t cover travel to two of the three countries I needed to visit. Yes, I would use this plan again.

I didn’t need the coverage thank goodness, but it was comforting to know I had it even though it was pretty expensive.

I really appreciate the peace of mind this plan brought. Our entire family used the service for 12 travelers and had no issues. I tried to ask a question while on travel, but the response was not readable by my mobile device. It didn't really matter a day later and we didn't have any claims. Will be using insuremytrip.com again! Thank you.

I did call them about filing a claim but...
I bought this plan to cover my expenses for a month. On arrival at my out of USA destination I noticed my bag zipper pull was broken & I couldn't lock my bag. I notified Delta via email as I didn't notice it until I got to my hotel. They replied they don't cover zippers but if I had insurance would help me with the claim. When I returned I contacted IMG & they said they would cover it but claim had to be submitted within 20 days of incident. Needless to say it was well over that time frame. On vacation we have to make do & I didn't think I had to rush to file a claim. I had to move some items into my carry on bag & laptop case to protect them from an unlocked bag. I guess I didn't read the fine print. Also the company never sent a "how did we do with your call"email. Disappointed

Did we really need your insurance? We were advised to get it, so we did. We spoke to other people on our cruise + they did not get insurance. They had enough in savings + credit cards to cover any expense. I suppose if anything had happened to us, we would be glad we had it.

Thankfully we didn't have to use the plan but glad that we had it.
