I'm very disappointed in the response I got from the helpline of this policy when I was injured in a boat incident on a cruise ship off the coast of Thailand they were useless in finding me any help or assisting me in any way. Instead they told me to seek my own medical professional help ,change reservations and fly at my own expense and then submit back to them for review and possible payment.
I would not purchase this product again.

I am very satisfied with the resolution of our claim. The premium was fair. Processing time was much longer than anticipated, likely due to an exceptionally high number of claims due to Hurricane Irma. The delay did create some uncertainty that the claim would be paid but it worked out. I would prefer that the policy offered a “cancel for any reason†option. Given life’s uncertainties as a senior, I would likely accept the additional premium when insuring an expensive trip. Without this coverage, the fine print detail in a policy creates uncertainty.

I initiated a call to your office, January 19, to find out what was happening with my claim. I gather from the person I spoke with that my paperwork was received on January 8, that a letter of denial was available on January 15 and still sitting in your office on January 19. Finally I called and only after I said I had not heard anything, did they tell me a letter had been written several, days prior, was actually sitting in their office, and would be sent...another two weeks went by. The exact same thing happened when I sent the letter of appeal...no letter at all in response..I called and they said they had denied the appeal but still today I have not received a letter stating the reason why. I will never use Insure my Trip/Seven Corners again nor advise my clients to do so...a terrible lack of communication, not once but twice.
