In April 2023, I had a scooter accident in Vietnam. I filed my first claim on May 18, 2023. Since then, I have been trying to get a response from AIG related to my claim. There is no one to call. They do not respond to my e-mails. The dozen or so documents I sent could have been reviewed in an hour. Yet, over a month has gone by and I still do not know what is going on with my claim. I keep sending e-mails asking for an update or status, but get nowhere. I have already paid out $3500 in medical and travel expenses to my credit card company. The average person cannot carry this amount for more than a month. Yet, here I am still waiting on any kind of response from AIG. I feel like I will never, ever get an answer from them.

I travel a lot and I use this service exclusively. When I travel with Grand Circle they try to get me to purchase their insurance. It is hundreds of dollars more. Due to a medical emergency, I had to file a claim once. AIG was fast and fair. I highly recommend them. Just got back from my 6th trip to Vietnam. Insured of course with AIG. Peace of mind at a reasonable price

I would never arrange a trip without including AIG. We have always used them but have never had to file a claim until now due to my partner's emergency surgery, just a few weeks before our three-week international trip. AIG came through for us and provided a refund for our full claim. We've planned a shorter trip for this August when he's recuperated and already purchased our AIG insurance for it, and plan to take our cancelled trip at the same time next April, same places, same AIG. I can sincerely highly recommend AIG!!

We've used Insure My Trip several times to insure our travel. We've never needed to file a claim, however, on our most recent trip, we needed to make a change in the travel dates, fairly late in the process, and we were able to do so without any additional premium or charges.
