I am glad I had this plan. Its app is very good, and the alerts it provides are helpful. Luckily I didn’t have to use any medical services, so I’m not sure how well it will work in a medical situation, but it seems to offer good contacts and services abroad. I will use this company again for future travel.

I had already purchased trip insurance for the travel part, baggage, etc. However, I needed to get medical, dental and evacuation coverage. If you don't have to use it, that is a great result but if you do need the coverage, it is nice to have.

The afternoon before our trip my husband suffered a chemical burn in his right eye. He went to emergency an ophthalmologist checked him and after he took care of his eye the doctor recommended not to cancel the trip but to see an ophthalmologist as soon we get to Buenos Aires, Argentina. I called this insurance and they immediately located the hospital in Buenos Aires. They send me a letter that I printed it to present at the hospital upon our arrival. After we got to Buenos Aires our first sightseeing was Hospital Aleman one of the best hospitals in the city. We were taken care by a wonderful ophthalmologist, she changed the medication that my husband was given in USA in forty 48 hours my husband improved so much that he couldn't believe it. He continued using the drops and an ointment for the next two weeks. We were traveling all over Argentina, from Buenos Aires to Bariloche in the Andes, then Cariló by the Atlantic Ocean and from there to Federación, Entre RÃos to beautiful hot springs. We were able to do this trip with peace of mind knowing that if we needed help it was a phone call away. We will never leave the country without this insurance it is worth every single penny that we paid for it. Buy it with confidence. The customer service is cordial and well manner and they understood our situation. Thank you!!

I contacted InsureMyTrip over the phone since I was unable to access their website. My experience with the customer service agent was excellent. I gave her my dates, ages, countries traveling to, and what my goal was - mainly to make sure I had medical evacuation insurance available since my company plan would cover me for emergencies. She found 3 plans and in talking to her, we found out that the cheapest plan would actually fit my needs and provided more in medical evacuation insurance than a more expensive plan. She did not try to "sell" me the higher priced plan. Within 10 minutes, I had coverage, which thankfully I never had to use, but it was comfort knowing I had it. I also looked at the GeoBlue website and was pleased with the availability of doctors in Chile and Argentina in their network. I will always use InsureMyTrip for any future travel insurance needs.

The GeoBlue Voyager Choice Plan covered all of the areas that I felt were important...amount of coverage, covered pre-existing conditions, and evacuation coverage to a hospital near our home. Luckily we did not need to use the GeoBlue Voyager Choice Plan but it gave me great comfort during our trip to know that we had it..
