Trip was canceled 5 days prior to departure due to insured becoming ill with Covid-19. Claim was filed 1/23/24 and is still in review as of today (3/19/24). Additional (duplicate) medical information had to be provided 3 weeks ago. It appears that claims for multiple insurance companies have to be processed by one clearing company and this seems to slow down the slow down settlement time. Plan was not reviewed due to this delay.

I didn't have to file a claim this time, but had peace of mind that I was covered if something happened. Especially medical evacuation, the cost of which will ruin an already bad day.
Had to file a claim with them before and they quickly paid it.

I have Medicare and wanted coverage for a trip to Canada. It's tough to evaluate a product when you never used it. I was buying peace of mind and I got that, so I got what I paid for,

The good news is that my claim was paid in full. However, it took over 60 days for the process to complete. I had to make 5 phone calls and found out that one of my emails to them requesting additional information sat in one of their email folders for 30 days with no action. Overall communication was not great but happy that the claim was paid as requested
