It’s a peace of mind thing that we do when traveling out of the country. A few years back when my wife’s mom and mine were ill we used Generali when doing domestic travel and had to use it once or twice and the whole process went smoothly.

This was the first time we had to file a claim for travel delays, which we had both outbound and returning. Generali's process was straightforward and the processed the outbound delay very quickly. I created a second claim for the return trip delay and that slowed things down - turns out they only allow one claim per policy, so if you have claims, do it all in one submission! But their customer service people were helpful and got it straightened out. This experience makes me definitely want to buy Generali plans again.

the so called customer service reps, are so extremely abusive, completely out of control abusing the customer, refuse to grta supervisor...suporvisor don't return calls claims don't return calls.
