Fortunately we didn't have to file a claim for this trip. However, our experience with analyzing our choices and choosing this policy were excellent. I read the policy and then called costumer service with some detailed questions. The representative spent a full hour on the phone answering my questions. She was able to answer all but one of the top of her head and consulted with another representative about the other one. The coverage provided was excellent for a great price. Highly recommended.

Actually, I did not need the plan this time, but as I will travel more during the next 12 months, one never knows. I still would like to receive a replacement card in the mail as the original one was stolen in Poland along with several other cards and my wallet.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. The GeoBlue Trekker Choice plan is an annual Multi-Trip Medical plan which also covers Medical Evacuation. This plan covers trips up to 70 consecutive days that take place outside the United States while the policy is active. You are not required to report each individual trip you take while the policy is in effect.

The cost of this plan went up by over $100 since last year when I didn't file a claim either. No discount for loyalty then. I will check premiums more carefully before I renew again.
