Travel Insurance Reviews for AXA Assistance USA

Of course since I didn’t need it the price seemed outrageous. But I’ve reached an age that anything can happen. So I guess I’m glad that I had it. I hope that what I paid for would have covered the cost of my two photo trips. Glad I came home safely.

No claim made on this trip, but I went with AXA because I did have to make a small claim on a previous trip insured by AXA and there was no hassle when I made that minor claim.

As we did not have to use really don’t have any feedback!

It was wonderful having peace of mind that we would be covered if needed.
Thankfully all was well. Healthy and safe.

Once again we did not need to use the insurance but, it feels real good knowing it is there. I have filed a claim only once in the last ten years. It was paid as filed in about two weeks after the paperwork was submitted.

I bought this insurance way back last Fall 2017. I am getting older with a failing memory to what i had done or where I even put my notes. I had to go to my credit card bills to find the phone number, call and cross check what I had done. I would suggest that as trip time approaches, an email from you telling me what I had done and that I WAS insured with you would have been VERY HELPFUL! Even two or three reminders asking if I had any questions or concerns like 3 months in advance, two months before and then a week before.

No experience using the plan but it has unreasonable notification requirements given an emergency situation where you cannot wait around for approval but must act immediately. Also has restrictions which are not immediately obvious.

Luckily I didn't have to use it, so I can't say how efficient/effective it is. It makes it impossible to give accurate answers to your questions. The last question which YOU answered for me is uncalled for - I don't know if I would recommend it based on the fact that I didn't have to use it so I don't know what a hassle or not it may have been had I made a claim. I changed your "yes" to a "no" on that one because it is irrelevant based on my knowledge of how it would have been to deal with you had I made a claim.

We did not need to use the plan but had to last year. I had a serious injury and it was comforting to know that both insure my trip folks and AXA were there when it was needed. I insure all our trips with AXA through Insure my trip.

It is so comforting to know that you have coverage for most unexpected events that may happen during any vacation you take. This is especially true in today's world environment.
