Though I did not need this plan, it was a great relief to know we had one! My friend's mother was ill and we did not know if we would have to fly home last minute. Thankfully, we did not BUT, It was also a blessing because we booked a cruise with Carnival through the Fiji Islands on a travel site. Once we checked in for the cruise, we found out we needed travel insurance to board the boat. If we did not have it, we would not have been able to go! THANK GOODNESS!

After spending a lot of money for this insurance coverage, when we cancelled our trip due to the terrorist act and then war in Israel, our claim was completely denied as war is not a covered reason.

We're very happy with using Insure My Trip to get good trip coverage and overall we were happy with the IMG policy. However, we were disappointed that they did not cover anything of our claim for Israel which this trip to Africa replaced due to the war.

I’ve used other groups before, but luckily as with this policy I did not have to file for anything. I bought this plan as it appeared very comprehensive when compared to other plans as well as well priced. Additionally, Clark Howard recommended this company. He generally does his homework and is a reliable source.
