Fortunately we did not have to use the plan since there were no problems when we were away. But the peace of mind (we are senior citizens with more health issues than we had when we first started traveling years ago) was worth the price of the plan and we definitely will purchase it again the next time we travel out of the country.

We have been lucky and have never made a claim,but would not travel without coverage.

I did not have to file a claim with C&F but did have a claim against the airline. My bag arrived totally open with missing items. Zipper handles where missing along with my TSA lock. The airline is reimbursing me for everything. This happened at the beginning of my three week trip to various
locations so the airline did not have much option. Paperwork a bit of hassle thought. I would still buy C&F Ins. just in case there was a hassle and did not get back in full from Airline.

It was a great trip since we didn't need to use it. However, traveling with a big group and small children it is a must!
