Travel Insurance Reviews for Nationwide

I didn’t need to file a claim, but I was very happy with the cost and the customer service I received.

Good plan, glad I didn’t need to use it!

It's hard to review a plan that I didn't have to use -- we did not have any travel interruption or delays, thus no claims were made. But I have used this plan before and the coverage is what we look for when we travel.

My review is totally meaningless because I didn’t need any assistance or file any claim. The policy was easy to purchase, but its service is untested. I must assume the service is good.

I had gotten this policy since our rental provided no refunds. But when my husband was laid off several months before our trip, I discovered that the policy only covered being laid off from your job if you had been employed at the company continuously for 3 years. Unfortunately, my husband had been a contractor for 3 months before he was hired at the company full time making his employment 3 months short of this requirement, so this policy was a waste of money.

While I did not have to file a claim, I appreciated the peace of mind this coverage gave me while traveling.

Thankfully, I didn't have to use the insurance plan, but it was a great comfort knowing it was available if needed.

Nationwide bet that I would not have issues, and I bet that I would. Fortunately, Nationwide won. Therefore I can't rate the product
