Not being used, therefore only 3 stars you know how good they are when you claim it.

The plan gave me a level of comfort knowing I had coverage, or at least purchased coverage. However, while being in Japan I began to realize that it would not be very easy to go to a suggested provider of services in the event I needed it. Almost all transportation in Japan is by bus, train, etc. I have no idea about the cost of a taxi. I actually didn't even see one. My only point is be aware that getting to a provider will not be as easy as it might seem which means you may (or may not) be responsible for the costs anyway.

Wish more providers in Tokyo, Japan.

My wife and I travel internationally once or twice a year. While we've never had an accident or become ill, we've been growing more concerned about what would happen if the worst occurred. We purchased insurance coverage for the 1st time on a recent trip, didn't need it, but slept better knowing we had it.
