We were very pleased with April Travel Protection. We had to cancel our trip to Italy because of an injury. There were forms to fill out, of course, but not lengthy. They paid the full limit on the policy. Just be aware that if you keep adding to your trip you need to Increase the limit on your policy. We did not!

Our cruise package was to start from Savannah GA airport. Hurricane Matthew closed that airport and subjected coastal residents like us to a mandatory evacuation. We evacuated to Charlotte NC which was where we were scheduled to change to a Rome IT plane. Even though our lodging and meal expenses in Charlotte were "pre-insured trip", the company paid all claimed expenses as trip interruption!

I didn't have a claim, so I can't comment on that service, but the purchase was very smooth. I also did a fair amount of searching and April Travel Protection was pretty clearly the best value for my needs in terms of the cost of the policy and the coverages I wanted. April will be my first option next time I have plans for a major trip.

I purchased travel insurance, including a cancel-for-any-reason rider, with April Travel Protection. When circumstances required me to use the insurance, the staff at April Travel handled my phone calls and e-mails promptly, professionally, politely, and kindly. The requirements to file a claim were clearly explained, and forms were emailed to me immediately thereafter. Upon submission, the paperwork was addressed quickly, and a check was received by me in less than 30 days. With other events occurring in life, it was a relief to have our insurance claim handled so expertly by such a reputable and reliable company. Without hesitation, I highly recommend insuring a trip with April Travel Protection. I will absolutely use them again in the future.

Felt very confident travelling with Insuremytrip. The main coverages we wanted was reimbursement for cancellation and medical--including flying home. The price was very reasonable for a 63 year old couple. Would definitely recommend this insurance

My claim was not processed fairly. It was denied after 60 days (State law allows 21) and the reason given for the denial was not supported by the policy language. When I brought this all to their attention the denial was over-turned and a check was issued. I have not received payment yet, but the over-turning of the denial only happened yesterday.
