I'm glad I bought this policy, though I didn't use it. My trip to India went great without any medical or emergency issues. But having this policy was a good fall-back assurance. I applaud one provision of the policy in particular. That's the provision relating to the pre-existing conditions, - the clause was sudden onset. Other policies in the HTH price range didn't offer such a provision. I'm glad I didn't have to use the policy, but it was a great assurance that if a pre-existing condition flared up, I was covered. Thank you.

I was in England when my luggage was delayed for 4 days. I was able to get hold of someone at Travelex right away who helped with the tracking of my luggage and also instructed me to purchase the items that I needed. When I got back home, I filled out a claim form, mailed in my receipts and had a check within two weeks.

It is hard to rate the 'effectiveness' of an insurance policy that (fortunately) we did not have to use. The peace of mind was well worth the price, the convenience of setting up the policy was great and the process was good. It was very convenient to receive a 'Bon Voyage' email a few days before the trip containing all the information we would need if something happened while on the trip.

I didn't need or use the insurance, but I thought about it during the trip a few times and felt re-assured. The peace of mind was worth it for me. That's what insurance is for, just in case eventualities. Glad I didn't need it.
