I didn't have to use it so all I can comment on was it was easy to sign up, print card and relax knowing I was covered!!

Didn't need it. But having it gave us peace of mind.

Purchased a plan with April through this website which was the most affordable and most comprehensive plan available. April was less expensive by a few hundred dollars over our tour operator's plan for much more coverage. Definitely recommend April and InsureMyTrip.

I bought a basic plan that included ~$700 worth of dental and when I called in I was told that the plan didn't cover my toothache due to wisdom tooth pain that started while I was there. This would be fine, except associate Janet was not interested in problem-solving or coming up with alternative solutions, and the phone call we had was one of the most unpleasant I've had in awhile. I won't be recommending this insurance company because of that phone call.

I felt the coverage was equal to other more costly plans. After purchase, I added on three days at no additional cost. Calling and speaking to an agent was easy and pleasant. Will definitely use April again.

Luckily we did not have to use the travel insurance, but we did last year on our trip, and April Travel Protection came through for us.

Had insurance, no claim. not much else to say.

Representatives were very helpful and knowledgeable, very good at helping us figure out exactly what we needed, what was/was not covered, and how to get best price but with the right coverage for our trip to a very remote and inaccessible place. Insurance always seems expensive until you need it - luckily we did not need to put in a claim so no idea what service etc. would be like for that.

I was glad I didn't have to use the plan. After I got back home I read some very negative review about Trip mate paying claims. I did not know Trip Mate was connected to this plan
