I tried to look for doctors when I was in Bruges, Belgium. The doctors and hospitals available under my own work medical insurance's international plan and GeoBlue are similar, probably because they are both by Anthem BlueCross. However, GeoBlue also has a telehealth app. And GeoBlue includes medical evacuation and repatriation benefits. I ended up just rest instead of seeing a doctor. But I felt more at ease that I had an option to see a doctor using the telehealth app.

Seemed like a good plan. Since we had no claims it’s hard to say how the plan would have handled any medical emergencies, which is what we purchased it for.

I purchased this insurance for my daughter who was abroad for about a month. Twice during her trip she had some health issues and called the contact number for the insurance. Both times she was given great service and referred to easily accessible health care near her. I am very thankful that she had GeoBlue to reach out to for guidance at those times. I would definitely purchase a plan again for future travels. Thank you all very much.

Actually, I did not need the plan this time, but as I will travel more during the next 12 months, one never knows. I still would like to receive a replacement card in the mail as the original one was stolen in Poland along with several other cards and my wallet.
