Luckily I did not have an incident requiring use of the coverage, but I have in years past, and Generali Global Assistance provided a rapid response and covered what was needed. I will always use them for my travel insurance.

Customer service was wonderful as we asked many questions before purchasing. We worried that we might encounter issues with older relatives while away so this insurance gave us peace of mind. Very affordable. We didn’t need it, but it was well worth having it.

We had to file a claim because of a trip interruption due to the global tech glitch that happened on July 19. Our flight was cancelled. Took about 6 weeks but our claim was honored.

fortunately I did not need to use the coverage; however it cost more than any trip I have ever taken. I felt that the insurance plan was WAY too expensive.

In situations like travel delay and missed connection, the extra dollars can make a big difference. We recommend checking the other plans to ensure they offer things like companion hospitality expenses in case of emergency hospitalization and a sufficient emergency dental coverage."
