I just ordered this policy today. I haven't yet had any experience with it. I'm writing to commend Insure My Trip's telephone representative who helped me with this purchase. Lisa (tel. ext. 227) was terrific. She was knowledgeable, courteous, pleasant and very helpful.
P.S.: I'm now writing after returning from my trip. Everything I said above remains correct. Good coverage, fair price, good communications between insurer and client.

Fortunately we didn't need to file a claim, but that's why one buys travel insurance. We have a 95 year-old parent who, while in generally good health could necessitate a speedy, unscheduled return to USA. We have associates who had need of emergency care and air evacuation from Mexico. They had Travelex and reported timely claim handling. That was what convinced us to go with Travelex.
