Do not get sick while covered by April Travel "Protection". My wife got ill in Buenos Aries (BA) and I called April Travel directly. The agent said they have no record of our policy. I called InsureMyTrip they they were EXTREMELY helpful. When I called the agent back from the ER in BA she was CLUELESS - even incorrectly said our cruise was not covered. She said someone would try to get in touch with us for medical help. My cell phone had a "missed call" from Canada. When I called that number back, a recording in French, then English, said their offices were closed! When I call April back, the same agent told me to expect contact from Excel Management, who would assist us. Never got a call. Luckily, our doctor in BA wrote in the Medical Report that we should return to the Denver immediately and we did. The claims saga was even worse - but I'm sure you get the picture.

It took almost 4 months for them to pay our medical claim, however they did pay it in full. Their follow up was not good during the claim process and I had to keep going back to check on progress. All in all, I guess I would recommend them.
