i submitted a claim and was asked for all sorts of documentation. finally was assigned a claims adjuster who was not responsive and didn't return calls. after 3 months, finally got in touch with someone who seemed capable and was told my policy didn't cover cancellation. why did it take 3 months to get that information?

I filed a simple claim for a one night stay in Madrid. Genarli denied the claim with no statement as to why. It now 12/31/23 and they have yet to respond to my appeal. Furthermore, there is no human being to speak with. DON’T use them for travel insurance.

All our queries were handled in the times stated by the provider. The reps over phone lines were courteous and helpful. The only disappointment was our that our return flight was cancelled due to issues at connecting airport by the airline and this was not covered by this plan - as it was't due to a mechanical or storm related cancellation. Of course, we did not anticipate such a cancellation nor realized it would not be covered at time of purchase.
