I had no claims. It was easy to purchase. I liked the app because it helps file claims if needed, get prepayment authorization and find providers. It also sends notices of places to avoid because of unrest.

I thought I was covered for necessary expenses incurred for luggage that was delayed for 4 and and a half days of a five day trip to France. When I called about filing a claim, I was informed that the policy only covered lost luggage, which was not clearly stated in the policy.
I have used GeoBlue several times in the past, but this was the first occasion where I had a need to file a claim.

GeoBlue has authored the following: "The GeoBlue Voyager Choice plan provides the following benefit for Baggage or Personal Effects. The policy description contains the following language which is provided on the plan overview webpage and inside the Member Services section of the site.
'If Baggage or Personal Effects are lost, damaged or stolen, the Company will pay the loss, up to the maximum amount indicated on the Benefit Overview Matrix, provided You have taken all reasonable measures to protect, save and/or recover Your property at all times.'

Apparently you did not need to file a claim. If you had needed coverage, your GeoBlue Voyager Choice plan would have provided a medical limit of 50,000 USD per person. Although you selected the lowest limit, you also had the following options available to you for an additional premium as shown in parenthesis:
Your Medical coverage was Secondary which will pay only after any other Primary collectible insurance has paid the claim and the Primary policies' limits have been exhausted.
Your GeoBlue Voyager plan also states that "Pre-existing conditions are covered under this plan as any other condition, subject to the terms and exclusions listed in the policy."

For anyone needing health care coverage traveling on vacation outside of the USA, the GEO Blue plan is the way to go. It is very easy to do on-line. Customer service was great for the changes I requested. You an print your coverage card right from your account on line. I'll be using them again for sure!

I purchased a week long policy, contract only showed coverage for 1 day. Called to extend and was advised it was updated. Checked the website - still coverage for just 1 day. Called back to extend AGAIN and was told it was extended, but guess what - it wasn't. Demanded a refund then told there was an issue with my credit card. (there was not) Called back to advise and was then told I had to submit my request to cancel in writing. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! Still no credit or extension.
